Terms and Conditions of Service

1. Acceptance and Definitions

• 1.1 Acceptance: Your use of the CollectMeMosaics website and its custom order features constitutes your explicit agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.
• 1.2 The Site: Refers to the online platform managed by CollectMeMosaics.
• 1.3 The Customer: Refers to any individual or entity placing an order for a Custom Product (mosaic board) through the Site.
• 1.4 Custom Product: Refers to the mosaic board that is specifically prepared based on the image selected by the Customer and the specifications approved by them.

2. Order and Approval Process

• 2.1 Image Submission: The Customer must upload the original desired image in high resolution, suitable for conversion into a mosaic design, via the Site or approved communication channels.
• 2.2 Payment: Full payment must be completed before the digital conversion phase or any processing of the Custom Product begins.
• 2.3 Digital Proof: After digital conversion, the Site will provide a "Digital Proof" (Pixel Map) illustrating the final appearance of the mosaic. Approval of this proof is a mandatory condition to commence order fulfillment.
• 2.4 Revisions: The Customer is entitled to request revisions to the Digital Proof (such as color adjustments or cropping) until complete satisfaction is reached.
• 2.5 Changing the Original Image: The Customer is allowed to completely change the original image one time only free of charge after the conversion process has begun. Any subsequent image changes may be subject to an administrative fee.
• 2.6 Final Approval (Crucial): Your explicit approval of the Digital Proof constitutes direct authorization for us to finalize the order.

  Important: After this approval, the order is considered confirmed. The option to return the product for a "Change of Mind" (and receive a 60% Partial Refund) applies strictly as per the terms in Section 3 and Section 4.2.

• 2.7 Intellectual Property (Customer Responsibility): The Customer acknowledges full responsibility for the intellectual property rights of the images provided. You guarantee that your images do not infringe upon any copyrights, trademarks, or rights of any third party. CollectMeMosaics disclaims any liability arising from such disputes.
• 2.8 Pre-Assembly Service (Optional):
  • 2.8.1 Selection: The Customer may choose to have the product pre-assembled for an additional fee. Note: Shipping fees for pre-assembled boards may differ from standard kits due to package size.
  • 2.8.2 Acceptance: Approval of the Digital Proof (Clause 2.3) applies to the final look of the mosaic, whether delivered as a DIY kit or pre-assembled.

3. Shipping and Returns

• 3.1 Shipping Duration: Timelines specified on the product page are estimates for preparation and shipping, not binding guarantees, due to the involvement of third-party carriers.
• 3.2 Receipt: The Customer is responsible for providing an accurate shipping address and ensuring someone is available to receive the order.
• 3.3 Returns and Defects: As these are custom-made products, returns are regulated strictly by our Return, Refund, and Shipping Policy.
  • Defects: Full replacement is provided for manufacturing or shipping defects reported within 48 hours.
  • Change of Mind: If you wish to return a non-defective item, a Partial Refund of 60% will be issued, and 40% will be deducted to cover customization costs. The Customer bears the return shipping costs.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

• 4.1 Cancellation BEFORE Approval: The Customer may cancel the order and receive a Full Refund of the product value, provided the cancellation request is made before giving final approval on the Digital Proof.
• 4.2 Cancellation AFTER Approval: Due to the customized nature of the product, full cancellation is not permitted after Final Approval.
  • Cancellation Before Shipping: If you cancel after approval but before the order is shipped, we will stop the process and refund 60% of the product value immediately. The remaining 40% is deducted to cover the completed Digital Design work and administrative processing fees.
  • Cancellation After Shipping: If the order has already been shipped, you must receive it and follow the standard Return Process. This will be treated as a "Change of Mind" return, subject to the 40% deduction plus the cost of return shipping.

5. Intellectual Property Rights (Site)

• 5.1 CollectMeMosaics Rights: All designs, templates, graphics, and content on the Site are the exclusive property of CollectMeMosaics and are protected by applicable intellectual property and copyright laws.

6. General Provisions

• 6.1 Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
• 6.2 Amendments: CollectMeMosaics reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Amendments become effective immediately upon public posting on the Site.
